Cryptotop becomes Coxicryptop
Coxicryptop is a combination of a fast-acting and slow-release calf supplement designed to prevent the development of coccidia ánd cryptosporidium in calves. The fast-acting capsule is given to the calf at day 4 to prevent cryptosporidium from developing and the 2 small boluses are given at day 14 to prevent coccidia from developing.
With the old name, Cryptotop, it was easily forgotten that this solution targets two problems in newborn calves. The new name, Coxicryptop, better reflects this double purpose (and it has an X and a Y in the name, which is cool).
